I’ve heard all the popular fables and funny folktales, but have always maintained a definite respect, tinged with trepidation, for Heaven and Earth. I’m reminded of a story I drafted some years ago: in one of the panels I drew an old man eating a centipede. Not long afterwards, I was bitten by a small centipede myself! Ouch! This proved to me that everything has a soul in Mother Nature, and the spirits that hover within her can latch onto even a slightly wicked thought that may run across your mind.
For this reason, it seems to me, we must respect our Mother Nature, keeping a positive attitude towards her at all times!
