Data structures, late night fixes

I have quite a substantial amount of digital-grunt-work to get on with – what amounts to data-entry. Frustratingly, this grunt-work doesn’t yet feel ‘final’. By that I mean that I foresee having to do more of this kind of manual format-translation in the future, but I take some solace in the recognition that this is part of an iterative process of refinement. Further thoughts on a Draft specification for a system of interlinked notes.

I’m starting to learn a good lesson about the importance getting data structures right in programming. I’ve painted myself into a corner with respect to implementing new features with my current structure.

Scratch the above, made a clean tweak to the data structure and… Holy fuck I implemented backlinks! That’s flippin’ cool, now I’m going to bed.
