“People is very normal”

This is how Nato says people are fine/good/same everywhere.

“In Georgia, Russia, Britannia, all country… people is very normal.”

It’s unfortunate that she sometimes follows it up with a racial jab — “Not Chinese, not young Chinese, but every other people is normal” — but the core of the thing, that everywhere people have much the same wants and warts, is an idea that I love and have long held dear.
